Heather Zimbal brings over 23 years of experience in Marketing and Communications to her real estate career, along with a passion for helping people find their ideal homes. A Johnsonville native with deep roots in the community, Heather is the daughter of Richard Schuette and Steve and Rita Bender, and graduated from Howards Grove School District.

Heather and her husband, Mark “Big Z” Zimbal—owner of Big Z Builders, LLC— reside in Sheboygan Falls, WI, with their three active sons, Henry, Arwin, and Walter, in a home they built together. Heather’s robust background in marketing, financial planning, and customer relations equips her to bring a fresh approach to real estate, combining professional expertise with a personalized touch.

After graduating from UW-Whitewater in 1999, Heather launched her career at GMR Marketing, where she traveled extensively as a Senior Manager, representing brands like VOLVO, Microsoft, Michelin, VISA, and NASCAR. Ready to plant roots back in Wisconsin, she joined Kohler Co. in 2006, taking on roles that spanned from Sr. Market Analysis to Brand Communications Manager. Her depth of experience in brand management, cross-functional leadership, and event planning makes her a trusted resource for clients in the real estate market.

Heather’s commitment to community runs deep. As a 4H Alumni herself,  she has been General Leader for the Johnsonville Hustlers 4-H Club since 2019.  She also served as the Wisconsin Holstein Princess in 1996 promoting Wisconsin’s dairy industry and, and is also actively involved at Saron UCC Church, where she serves as an Elder. These roles reflect her dedication to making a positive impact both within and beyond her professional life.

Outside of real estate, Heather enjoys family time and outdoor adventures, cheering on her sons at local football games and wrestling matches, spending weekends camping or working on arts and crafts. Her husband Mark, a seasoned builder in Sheboygan County since 1996, owns Big Z Builders LLC, and together, they create a dynamic team in both family and business life. Adding to the lively household are two loyal, 120-pound dogs, Teddy and Everest.
